Commissioning a portrait couldn't be easier!

We'll begin by consulting on the type of portrait you want.  Will it be formal or casual?  Will it be in a traditional style and in color or in my silver leaf format?  Will it be a smaller head and shoulders portrait or a larger three-quarter or full-length portrait?   I work primarily from photo references so we'll determine whether I will be taking photos or using an existing photo for reference.  Once we've agreed on a concept and final photo reference, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

Once I begin work, I will send you progress images for your approval.  Once I've started, the process usually takes from 6 weeks to 3months.  The painting will be delivered (by me if local or we can arrange shipment ) when dry, unframed and I will also be happy to consult with you on framing.
